E. (§9.39) Emergency Telephone Service (911) Immunity

Except for willful and wanton misconduct or gross negligence, public agencies and their officers, agents, and employees are not liable for civil damages in connection with developing, adopting, operating, or implementing an emergency telephone service (911) plan or system. The immunity also covers issuing emergency instructions through the emergency telephone system and following those instructions. Section 190.307, RSMo 2016.
