f. (§9.37) Compensation for Attorney in Fact
Section 404.725, RSMo 2000, is among several sections of the DPA Act that is not incorporated by reference into the DPAHC Act through § 404.810, RSMo 2000. Thus, the law provides for compensation under a general power of attorney, but is silent as to compensation of an attorney in fact acting under a DPAHC. One thought is that compensation is a financial matter that should be governed by the DPA Act and not the DPAHC Act.
