D. (§9.34) Prohibition and Mandamus

Prohibition and mandamus are remedies available to public entities and public officers and employees that unsuccessfully raise the defenses of sovereign immunity, official immunity, or the public duty doctrine in motions to dismiss or motions for summary judgment. See:
