6. (§9.25) Redirect Examination

Redirect examination provides the trial attorney with a very effective tool in the art of persuasion because it presents an opportunity for a summation with respect to the testimony of each witness. On direct examination, the trial attorney:

· brings out the identity of the witness;

· establishes how the witness is in a position to know the things about which he or she testifies; and
