H. (§9.11) Limits of Liability

The 1978 adoption of § 537.610, now RSMo 2016, established the maximum amount of liability insurance or self-insurance coverage that a political subdivision could maintain for tort claims and the maximum liability for these torts. The limit for all claims from a single occurrence was set at $800,000. The limit for any person in a single occurrence was set at $100,000.
