Evidence regarding farmers’ lost earnings was ruled admissible in Beckett v. Kiepe, 369 S.W.2d 258, 262–63 (Mo. App. W.D. 1963), and Myers v. Karchmer, 313 S.W.2d 697, 704–05 (Mo. 1958).

In Beckett, the plaintiff, a farmer, testified that because of his injury he was unable to plant 25 acres of corn on his own land and on 40 acres of other land that he had leased for 15 years.
