The general venue statute in Missouri is § 508.010, RSMo Supp. 2010. It provides that tort actions, when the plaintiff is first injured in the state of Missouri, must be brought in the county "where the plaintiff was first injured by the wrongful acts or negligent conduct alleged in the action."
