Section 379.203.4, RSMo 2000, entitles an automobile insurer that has paid benefits to its insured under the uninsured motorist coverage in its policy to any settlement or judgment proceeds resulting from the insured’s exercise of any rights of recovery “against any person or organization legally responsible for the bodily injury for which such payment is made.” In Kroeker v.
