A deputy determined under the Missouri Employment Security Law that the claimant was disqualified for waiting week credit and benefits until the claimant has earned wages for insured work equal to six times the claimant's weekly benefit amount, on a finding that the claimant was discharged on February 2, 2007, for misconduct connected with the claimant's work. The claimant filed an appeal from that determination.

After due notice to the interested parties the Appeals Tribunal heard the appeal by means of a telephone conference originating from Jefferson City, Missouri, on August 15, 2007. The claimant testified. One witness testified for the employer.

FINDINGS OF FACT:

The claimant worked as a widget machine operator for the employer in Any Town, Missouri, for three years. His last wage was $10.72 per hour.
