C. (§7.5) Federally Mandated Requirements for New Construction and Alterations
Two federal laws directly affect new construction and alterations of buildings and structures in Missouri. Neither requires enforcement by local governmental officials. Enforcement through private civil actions or the federal government is provided for in the legislation.
