2. (§7.29) Informants

Generally, the state does not have to reveal the identity or existence of a confidential informant unless the informant is an active participant and in a position to offer testimony relevant and crucial to the defense. State v. Toler, 823 S.W.2d 140, 142 (Mo. App. E.D. 1992); State v. Arbeiter, 664 S.W.2d 566, 568 (Mo. App. E.D. 1983).
