2. (§7.10) Statements of the Defendant or Co-Defendant

Rule 25.03(A)(2) requires the state to disclose any statements made by the defendant or co-defendant, whether they are written, recorded, or oral. If the statement is oral, the state must disclose the substance of that statement. Id. The state must provide the names and addresses of all witnesses to the making or acknowledgment of the statements. Id.
