D. (§7.10) Federal Compliance With Local Government Building Codes

Under 40 U.S.C. § 3312a. (1) and (b), federal agencies must, to the “maximum extent feasible,” comply with applicable nationally recognized codes for the construction or alteration of federal buildings funded after September 30, 1989. In addition, federal agencies are required to:
