There are two common types of consent clauses. The most common one reads:

This coverage does not apply to bodily injuries sustained by a person:

1. If that person or the legal representative of that person makes a settlement without a written consent.

Another common consent clause reads:

Consent to be Bound

We are not bound by any judgment against any person or organization obtained without our written consent.
