Section 6.17 Limits of Liability

Section 379.203.1, RSMo 2000, requires that the limits for bodily injury or death shall not be less than is set forth in § 303.030, RSMo 2000. The insurance companies are at liberty to provide limits of coverage in excess of the minimum requirement of $25,000/$50,000 per § 379.203. The limits set out in § 303.030.5, exclusive of interest and costs, are to be “not less than twenty-five thousand dollars because of bodily injury to or death of one person in any one accident . . . to a limit of not less than fifty thousand dollars because of bodily injury to or death of two or more persons in any one accident . . . .”
