D. (§6.10) Regional Planning
Recognizing that planning for orderly growth and development requires looking beyond jurisdictional boundaries, the legislature has provided for a system of regional planning among units of local government. Sections 251.150 et seq., RSMo 2016. The State and Regional Planning and Community Development Act, §§ 251.150 et seq., provides for the establishment of an advisory regional planning commission to study, among other issues:
