I. (§6.1) Judicial Discretion Regarding the Admission and Exclusion of Evidence

Trial courts have broad discretion regarding the admission and exclusion of evidence. Hancock v. Shook, 100 S.W.3d 786, 795 (Mo. banc 2003); Kelly ex rel. Kelly v. Jackson, 798 S.W.2d 699, 704 (Mo. banc. 1990). An appellate court will only reverse a trial court’s ruling regarding the admission or exclusion of evidence when there is an abuse of discretion.
