An unfair labor practice (ULP) strike is aptly named in that it is the result, at least in part, of the unfair labor practices of an employer. A causal nexus must exist between the strike and the ULP for a strike to be designated a ULP strike; that is, the ULP must have been one of the reasons why the employees chose to strike.
