a. (§5.6) Civil Legal File Contents
For appeals in civil cases, Rule 81.12(a) requires that the legal file contain, in chronological order:
· The pleadings on which the action was tried—If any pleading was amended, the record on appeal is to contain only the last amended pleading and is not to contain any pleading that was abandoned. Rule 81.12(b).
