VII. (§5.31) Investment of Assets

Section 473.333, RSMo, as amended by House Bill 239, 95^th General Assembly, 1^st Regular Session (Mo. 2009), provides that, if there is money that will not soon be needed for expenses and debts, the supervised personal representative shall invest it. The personal representative’s investments are subject to the Missouri Prudent Investor Act, §§ 469.600–469.913, RSMo Supp. 2008, with the exception of:

direct obligations of, or obligations unconditionally guaranteed as to principal and interest by, the United States; and
