a. (§5.26) Existence of a Dispute
One of the most important concepts to remember regarding the determination of a payment due date is that the time period is tolled if a dispute exists between the agency and the business concern “over the amount of payment or compliance with the contract.” 31 U.S.C. § 3907(c).
