VII. (§5.22) Parenting Coordination
Parenting coordinators (also referred to as “parent” coordinators) are professionals appointed by a court—or agreed to by divorced or divorcing parties—who assist parents in the implementation of their parenting plans. The parenting coordinator may be a psychologist or other mental health professional or may come from other professions, including the law. The common skill that these professionals possess is expertise in issues relating to families and children.
