1. (§5.21) General Rules

Under § 488.2250, RSMo 2000, court reporters receive $1.50 per 25-line page for the original of the transcript and $.35 per copy of the original. Any judge, in the judge’s discretion, may order a transcript of all or any part of the proceedings. If the judge so orders, the state is required to pay the court reporter fees upon a voucher approved by the court. Section 488.2250.

Rule 81.12(c) provides that the charges due for preparing the transcript are to be paid as § 512.050, RSMo...
