G. (§5.10) Abandon Valueless Property

If the personal representative determines that certain personal or real property has no value, is heavily encumbered, or is in such condition that it is of no benefit to the estate, the personal representative may petition the court for an order authorizing the disposition of the property as the court finds appropriate, including abandonment or immediate distribution to the heirs or legatees. Section 473.293, RSMo 2000.
