The owner of a self-storage facility has a lien on all personal property stored in it by a customer who is in default on a storage bill for more than 30 days. Section 415.415.1 and .2, RSMo Supp. 2004. The lien is subordinate to liens that have been “perfected and recorded” on personal property. Id.
