AN ORDINANCE CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION ON THE ANNEXATION OF UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY AND THE EXTENSION OF THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF __________________, MISSOURI, ALL PURSUANT TO SECTION 71.015 OF THE REVISED STATUTES OF MISSOURI, AS AMENDED.

Whereas, by Ordinance No. _____ by the Board of Aldermen [or City Council] of the City of __________, Missouri (the "City"), on the _____ day of __________, 20___, the Board of Aldermen [or City Council] did ordain to annex certain unincorporated territory in __________ County, Missouri, described in the ordinance as the Annexation Area to the City of __________, Missouri, pursuant to the provisions of Section 71.015, RSMo, as amended; and

Whereas, in accordance with the provisions of Section 71.015, RSMo, as amended, the City Council desires to submit the question of the annexation of the Annexation Area to the qualified voters of the City and the Annexation Area and to call an election for that purpose.
