Neighbors and friends can illustrate the industry of an injured party. For example, a neighbor might testify that:

· before the accident, the plaintiff used to give the neighbor fruits and vegetables from the plaintiff’s gardens;

· the plaintiff was observed working around the house on various major projects after work and on the weekends; or

· the plaintiff not only worked around the plaintiff’s own house, but offered neighbors a helping hand whenever asked.
