C. (§4.6) Venue
Venue in attachment suits is governed by § 508.020, RSMo 2000. Quick v. Schmidt, 497 S.W.2d 852 (Mo. App. W.D. 1973). A suit in attachment is brought in any county where the defendant's property can be found. Rule 85.06 provides that writs of attachment must be directed to "any sheriff in the State of Missouri," and it authorizes multiple writs outstanding at the same time.
