A. (§4.6) Real Party in Interest

To be a party to a civil lawsuit, a plaintiff must not only have some actual and justiciable interest susceptible of protection, but must also either be named as a party in the original petition or added later by trial court order. Hoskin v. Younger Cemetery Corp., Inc., 838 S.W.2d 476 (Mo. App. E.D. 1992).
