Section 4.57 Acts or Omissions by Party Giving Notice to Take Depositions

If a party or the party’s attorney appears for depositions in accordance with notice, the court may order the party giving notice to pay the reasonable expenses incurred by the other party or that party’s attorney in attending if either of the following occur:
·The party giving notice fails to attend and proceed with the deposition.
·The party giving notice has failed to comply with the rules to compel attendance of a witness and the witness fails to appear.
