G. (§4.23) Dissolution of the Writ
The defendant may move to dissolve the writ at any time before final judgment. See Rule 85.14. Unless Rule 85.14(c)(3) is invoked, the defendant does not need to enter a general appearance to move to dissolve the writ. The following are grounds for dissolution of the writ:
· The plaintiff's bond is inadequate.
· The plaintiff's affidavit is inadequate (i.e., does not allege facts showing the existence of one or more of the grounds for attachment).
