1. (§4.17) Intervention of Right

Upon timely application, intervention of right is allowed when:

· an unconditional right to intervene is conferred by a statute; or

· the applicant claims an interest in the action and the disposition of the action may interfere with the applicant’s ability to protect that interest, unless the interest is adequately represented by existing parties.
