B. (§4.12) Under Other Statutes
Under § 441.240, RSMo 2000, a landlord may have an attachment for rent if certain grounds are present, although the property that may be attached is limited. Phillips v. Hunter, 31 S.W.2d 224 (Mo. App. E.D. 1930). Likewise, under § 441.280, RSMo 2000, a lessor of farmland may enforce the statutory lien for rent by an attachment of the crop.
