E. (§4.12) Personal and Advertising Injury Coverage
The other major coverage afforded by the 2001 CGL Policy is “personal and advertising injury,” which has its own separate occurrence limit and is often requested by owners and prime contractors from the other contracting party. (Before the 1998 CGL Revisions, the CGL policies defined the terms “personal injury” and “advertising injury” separately.) “Personal and advertising injury” is defined under the 2001 CGL Policy as:
