Section 4.10 Nonparty as Deponent

A subpoena is required to compel the attendance of a nonparty deponent at depositions. If the deponent is a nonparty corporation or other organization and the party is willing to permit the organization to designate who will testify on its behalf, the subpoena is issued to the organization, and it must advise the organization of its duty to designate witnesses to testify.
