Antenuptial agreements—perhaps more commonly known and referred to as prenuptial agreements—are contracts entered into between prospective spouses in contemplation
of marriage. Postnuptial agreements, as the name implies, are contracts entered into after the marriage. In both cases, the parties enter into these agreements for many reasons, principally to protect their property from the consequences
