I. (§4.1) Introduction

This chapter is intended to provide counsel with an overview of the remedies generally available to a claimant under Missouri law for breach of a contract. As a general rule, upon the breach of a contract, the injured party may, by election of direct remedies, seek damages, specific performance, or restitution and rescission. See:
