Unilateral mistake, without more, is not a ground for reformation of a written instrument. Am. Family Mut. Ins. Co. v. Bach, 471 S.W.2d 474, 477 (Mo. 1971); Rainey v. Foland, 555 S.W.2d 88, 91 (Mo. App. W.D. 1977); Moreland v. State Farm Fire & Cas. Co., 662 S.W.2d 556, 563 (Mo. App. S.D. 1983). But in cases of both unilateral and mutual mistake, a unilateral mistake will not prevent reformation. See Elton v. Davis, 123 S.W.3d 205, 213 (Mo. App. W.D. 2003).
