Section 38 Presentment

Under Article 3 of the Missouri Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), §§ 400.3-101 et seq., RSMo 2000 and Supp. 2006, presentment means a demand, made by or on behalf of a person entitled to enforce an instrument, to pay the instrument or to accept a draft made to the drawee. Section 400.3-501(a), RSMo 2000. When making the demand, the person making presentment must:
