Section 211.231.1, RSMo 2000, provides that “[a]ll commitments made by the juvenile court shall be for an indeterminate period of time” and shall not be continued beyond the juvenile’s 21st birthday. But if the child is committed in accordance with § 211.181.3, RSMo Supp. 2010,
the court may make further directions as to the child’s length of stay and set a minimum review date.
