3. (§33) Checklist of Items in Petition
A mechanic’s lien petition should sufficiently identify that the lien claimant has satisfied the various statutory requirements for pursuing a lien. Under § 429.180, RSMo 2000, mechanic’s lien petitions are to be treated in the same manner as ordinary civil pleadings unless otherwise provided under Chapter 429, RSMo. In this regard, it is recommended that a mechanic’s lien petition should contain the following material allegations:
