Section 32 Permitted Uses of Rights Acquired

There are generally three types of cases that arise concerning the use of property acquired for public purpose:

1. When the original condemning authority has abandoned its use and a licensee remains on the property claiming a prescriptive easement

2. When the use extends beyond the land acquired for a specific purpose

3. When a use not needed to effectuate the purposes for which the land was acquired is being made of the property
