Appeal is allowed from any final judgment made under the Juvenile Code, Chapter 211, RSMo, and may be taken on the part of the juvenile by the custodian. Rule 120.01.a. Parents of the juvenile are specifically given the right to appeal any judgment that adversely affects them. Section 211.261, RSMo 2000. The phrase “adversely affected” is synonymous with “aggrieved” as used in § 512.020, RSMo Supp. 2010—which allows appeal by any aggrieved party in a civil action—and means suffering from an infringement or denial of legal rights. In re A.H., 963 S.W.2d 374 (Mo. App. S.D. 1998).

When the hearing has proceeded before an appointed juvenile court commissioner, the juvenile and custodian are entitled to notice
of the commissioner’s findings and recommendations and notice
of transfer to a judge. Rule 130.07. Notice of transfer may be given
