Section 30 Leaves of Absence for Voting Purposes

Under Missouri law, any person who is eligible to vote at any election held within Missouri is entitled to three hours leave of absence between the time the polls open and the time the polls close to vote as long as the following apply:

1. The employee requests leave before the day of election.

2. The employee is voting in Missouri.

3. The employee does not have three successive hours off work during poll hours.
