The goal for The Missouri Bar Criminal Code Review Subcommittee was fairly simple: make the Criminal Code logical, coherent, and consistent, both structurally and internally. The guidelines included the following:
· Eliminate redundancies.
· Gather the criminal statutes into the Criminal Code.
· Remove the noncriminal statutes from the Criminal Code.
