1. (§3.76) Distinguished From Ordinances

A resolution is not an ordinance. Julian v. Mayor, Councilmen & Citizens of City of Liberty, 391 S.W.2d 864 (Mo. 1965). It is usually less solemn or formal than an ordinance and usually deals with matters of a special or temporary character. See:
