Answers may have the effect of enforcing a waiver of privilege or other objections available when the interrogatory is answered without objection. Wren v. St. Louis Pub. Serv. Co., 355 S.W.2d 365, 370–71 (Mo. App. E.D. 1962). This is not true, however, when the interrogatories do not inquire into matters to which the privilege would apply. State ex rel. Taylor v. Luten, 710 S.W.2d 906, 908 (Mo. App. E.D. 1986).
