11. (§3.43) Court Records and Published Decisions

· Defendant’s state-court conviction in forfeiture proceeding. State ex rel.Callahan v. Collins, 978 S.W.2d 471, 473–74 (Mo. App. W.D. 1998).

· Court will notice its own records and may take judicial notice of the records of other cases when justice so requires. Mo. Land Dev. I, LLC v. Raleigh Dev., LLC, 407 S.W.3d 676, 689 (Mo. App. E.D. 2013).

· Court will notice its own records, but court will not ordinarily notice the records and facts in one proceeding in deciding another and different one. Edward Runge Land Co. v. Busch, 594 S.W.2d 647, 650 (Mo. App. E.D. 1980).

· For res judicata purposes, federal court may notice state court decree. Mehlar Corp. v. City of St. Louis, Mo., 530 F. Supp. 85, 86 (E.D. Mo. 1981).

· Records in same action, former appeal. Keaton v. Jorndt, 168 S.W. 734, 736 (Mo. 1914).

· Records of related proceedings before the same court:

- Feinberg v. Feinberg, 924 S.W.2d 328, 330 (Mo. App. E.D. 1996)
