V. (§3.22) Sequestration of Wages

Employees of the state, political subdivisions, and municipal corporations are not subject to direct garnishment. Instead, their wages are subject to a levy process referred to as sequestration. Rule 90.16 and § 525.310, RSMo 2000, prescribe the procedures for sequestration.
