A. (§3.2) Initial Interview

The initial interview is critical to the process of establishing a lawyer-client relationship of trust and confidence. Most clients are both fearful and bewildered. They want an attorney who understands court procedures, who understands the law, and who has the experience to guide them through the mine field without any explosions. Counsel should take the time to do the following:
